Aged Care Services
Please Note: From the 1st November 2025, The Home Care Package and Short Term Restorative Care programs will cease and all Home Care Package recipients will be moved to the new Support At Home program. You can find out more at: Support At Home Program
Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) recipients will not be transferred to the Support At Home Program until 1st July 2027 at the earliest.
Flair For Care operates under an independent model of service and is not currently a My Aged Care registered provider. Under the new Support At Home program, Flair For Care will be categorised and registered with a registered provider as an “associate provider”.
Flair For Care collaborates with registered providers to be able to provide subsidised services to recipients of a Home Care Package (HCP), the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and the Short Term Restorative Care program (STRC).
At present, we are registered to provide services through:
- Let’s Get Care (self-managed)
- Better Living Homecare (fully-managed)
- Just Home Care Packages (part-managed)
- Trilogy Care (self-managed and fully-managed options)
- BaptistCare (Local provider: fully-managed)
- Healthcare Australia (Local provider: fully-managed)
- Homecare My Way (Healthcare Australia: self-managed and part-managed options)
If you would like to use our services and you are registered with another registered provider, we may be able to collaborate with your provider to provide subsidised services to you. Registered providers with business models that offer a choice to use a client’s preferred contractor to deliver their care have seen increases in their clientele because the client gets to choose their own supports and services, who delivers them and when. This encourages continuity of care, trust and accountability in those you choose to deliver your care.
This does not always happen with traditional/local service provider models, meaning clients generally have little say in the day, time or support worker sent to complete the service. Support workers from traditional service providers may also have restrictions on what they can and cannot do for you during a service, which can often be very unhelpful, distressing and disempowering for the client. By using independent support workers, they get to choose what they can and cannot do for you in a service, depending on the skills, qualifications and attitudes of the independent support worker themselves.
Once you have chosen a registered provider and have ensured that the provider contracts independent support workers, we can begin the process of registering our business with that provider. Flair For Care is required to be registered with your chosen registered provider before we can start providing you with government subsidised services.
