Aged Care Services
Please Note: From the 1st July 2025, The Home Care Package program will cease and all Home Care Package recipients will be moved to the new Support At Home program. You can find out more here at: Support At Home Program
Flair For Care is not currently a My Aged Care registered provider, therefore, we must collaborate with registered providers to be able to provide subsidised services to recipients of Home Care Packages (HCP), the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and the Short Term Restorative Care program (STRC).
At present, we are registered with myHomecare Group (Better Living Homecare/Let’s Get Care), BaptistCare and Healthcare Australia to provide services to HCP clients. You can find out more about MyHomecare Group here: https://myhomecaregroup.com.au/
If you would like to use our services and you are registered with another registered provider, we may be able to collaborate with your provider to provide subsidised services to you. Registered providers with business models that welcome self-managed, part-managed and fully-managed clients and use contractors and/or sole traders to deliver care to their clients have seen increases in their clientele because the client gets to choose their own supports and services, who delivers them and when. This encourages continuity of care, trust and accountability in those you choose to deliver your care.
This does not always happen with traditional/local service provider models, meaning clients generally have little say in the day, time or support worker sent to complete the service. Support workers from traditional service providers may also have restrictions on what they can and cannot do for you during a service, which can often be very unhelpful, distressing and disempowering for the client. By using independent support workers, they get to choose what they can and cannot do for you in a service, depending on the skills, qualifications and attitudes of the independent support worker themselves.
If you are planning to apply, are in the process of, already approved for government funded or subsidised care or are already registered with a registered provider and you are looking for alternate ways to have your services and supports delivered to you, we have created the below list of other potential registered providers that also work within this business model, however, we do not guarantee that any of the providers listed are appropriate for your needs and situation. Be diligent in your choice of any provider and make sure they are appropriate and suitable for your needs.
Once you have chosen a registered provider and have ensured that the provider contracts independent businesses/support workers, we can begin the process of registering our business with that provider. Flair For Care is required to be registered with your chosen registered provider before we can start providing you with government subsidised services.
