Transport plays a vital role in helping people maintain independence, attend appointments, and stay socially connected. Our transport services provide safe, door-to-door travel for clients needing assistance to get to medical appointments, social outings, shopping trips, and other essential errands.
This is a transport service and is provided on its own. Although we offer both accompanied and unaccompanied transport, accompanied transport is where a support worker stays with you throughout the service, assists as needed and is part of a social support service. A transport service is for unaccompanied transport, where we simply provide safe and reliable travel to and/or from your destination.
Our vehicles are suitable for most mobility needs; however, availability and accessibility may vary based on location and specific requirements. Please speak with us to discuss your transport needs and how we can best support your independence and routine.
Transport services are specifically funded to provide transport assistance to appointments, shopping, recreational/social activities and other errands and includes just drop off or pick up. However, if it is expected that the worker wait for the client or to transport the client back to the original location or to an additional location, this is categorised as a Social Support service.
